1. GENERAL
BLACKWARD ships orders internationally to destinations made available through our online Store.
Available shipping destinations, shipping methods, estimated delivery times and applicable shipping charges may vary depending on:
- destination country;
- delivery address;
- products ordered;
- order value;
- carrier availability;
- customs requirements;
- promotional campaigns;
- and other logistical circumstances.
The shipping options and charges applicable to a particular order will be displayed during checkout whenever available.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to provide complete and accurate shipping information.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
2. ORDER PROCESSING
Orders must be processed before they are handed over to the applicable shipping carrier.
Processing may include:
- payment verification;
- fraud prevention checks;
- inventory confirmation;
- picking and packing;
- preparation of shipping documentation;
- and, where applicable, customs documentation.
Processing times may vary depending on demand, stock availability, order volume, product type and destination.
Any processing or dispatch estimate displayed on the product page, checkout, order confirmation or other part of the Store should be treated as an estimate unless BLACKWARD expressly states that a particular delivery date is guaranteed.
Orders are generally not processed, dispatched or delivered on weekends or public holidays unless otherwise stated.
During high-demand periods, product launches, sales, Black Friday, Christmas, holidays or other exceptional periods, processing may take longer than usual.
Where applicable consumer law imposes a maximum delivery period, BLACKWARD will comply with that legal requirement.
3. DELIVERY TIMES
Estimated delivery times depend on the destination, carrier, customs procedures and shipping method selected.
Any delivery date or delivery range displayed by BLACKWARD is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a guaranteed delivery date.
Estimated delivery time begins after the order has been processed and dispatched unless otherwise stated.
Delivery estimates do not necessarily include:
- order processing time;
- weekends;
- public holidays;
- customs clearance;
- customs inspections;
- exceptional carrier delays;
- strikes;
- severe weather;
- natural disasters;
- border disruptions;
- periods of unusually high demand;
- or other circumstances outside BLACKWARD's reasonable control.
If a specific delivery period is shown and agreed during checkout, that delivery period will apply subject to mandatory consumer law.
For consumers in jurisdictions where the law establishes a default maximum delivery period, BLACKWARD will comply with that requirement.
In particular, for eligible consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom, unless another delivery period has been specifically agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable law.
4. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated based on factors that may include:
- destination;
- shipping method;
- package size;
- package weight;
- order value;
- carrier rates;
- and promotional offers.
The applicable shipping charge will normally be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.
BLACKWARD may offer free shipping promotions or free shipping above certain order values from time to time.
Such promotions may:
- apply only to certain countries;
- apply only above a minimum purchase amount;
- exclude certain products;
- be available for a limited period;
- or be subject to additional promotional conditions.
BLACKWARD may modify or discontinue voluntary free shipping promotions at any time before an order is placed.
5. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
BLACKWARD ships internationally to countries and territories made available at checkout.
Not every product may be available for shipment to every destination.
We may restrict shipping to a particular country or territory where:
- shipping services are unavailable;
- import restrictions apply;
- sanctions or legal restrictions apply;
- carrier services are suspended;
- delivery cannot reasonably be completed;
- or shipping would otherwise violate applicable law.
If BLACKWARD cannot fulfil an order because shipping to the customer's destination is unavailable, the customer will be informed and any amount legally due will be refunded.
6. CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
International orders may be subject to:
- customs duties;
- import taxes;
- tariffs;
- VAT or similar taxes;
- customs processing fees;
- brokerage charges;
- or other government charges.
Whether these charges are collected at checkout or upon import depends on the destination, shipping arrangement and applicable law.
Where BLACKWARD clearly collects taxes or duties at checkout, the relevant amounts will be indicated during the purchase process.
Where duties, taxes or customs charges are not collected by BLACKWARD, they may be payable by the recipient directly to the carrier, customs authority or another third party.
BLACKWARD does not control charges independently imposed by customs authorities, governments or carriers.
Customers are responsible for paying import charges that have been properly disclosed as their responsibility and that may lawfully be imposed on them.
Nothing in this section transfers to the customer any tax, customs or consumer-law obligation that applicable law requires BLACKWARD to bear.
7. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
International shipments may be subject to customs inspection and clearance procedures.
Customs authorities may require additional information from the recipient before releasing an order.
The customer must reasonably cooperate with lawful customs clearance requirements where necessary to receive the shipment.
BLACKWARD is not responsible for delays caused solely by customs authorities or the customer's failure to provide information lawfully requested for import clearance, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Customs processing times are outside BLACKWARD's direct control.
A customs delay does not automatically entitle the customer to compensation where BLACKWARD has fulfilled its legal obligations and the delay is outside our reasonable control.
However, mandatory rights relating to excessive delivery delays remain unaffected.
8. ORDER TRACKING
Where tracking is available, customers may receive a shipping confirmation containing a tracking number or tracking link after the order has been dispatched.
Tracking information is supplied by the carrier and may not update immediately after dispatch.
It can sometimes take additional time for:
- the first tracking scan to appear;
- customs events to update;
- international tracking systems to synchronize;
- or local delivery partners to receive the parcel.
The absence of an immediate tracking update does not necessarily mean that the parcel has not been dispatched.
If tracking has not updated for an unusually long period, customers may contact:
blackwardsupport@gmail.com
9. MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
An order containing multiple products may, where reasonably necessary, be shipped in more than one package.
Different packages belonging to the same order may:
- have different tracking numbers;
- be delivered by different carriers;
- originate from different fulfilment locations;
- and arrive on different dates.
Receiving only part of an order does not necessarily mean that the remaining items are missing.
Where an order is split into multiple shipments, customers should check any shipping confirmations and tracking information provided.
10. SHIPPING ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.
This includes, where applicable:
- full recipient name;
- street name;
- street number;
- apartment, floor or unit number;
- postal or ZIP code;
- city;
- state or province;
- country;
- telephone number;
- and other information reasonably necessary for delivery.
Customers should carefully review their information before completing checkout.
If you discover an error after placing an order, contact:
blackwardsupport@gmail.com
as soon as possible.
BLACKWARD will make reasonable efforts to update the address where operationally possible.
However, we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has:
- entered fulfilment;
- been packed;
- received a shipping label;
- or been handed to the carrier.
11. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES
BLACKWARD is not responsible for a delivery failure caused solely by inaccurate or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If a parcel is returned to BLACKWARD because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address, BLACKWARD may require payment of reasonable additional shipping costs before resending the order, where legally permitted.
If a refund is instead issued, actual shipping or return costs may be deducted only where permitted by applicable law.
This section does not apply where BLACKWARD or a carrier acting on our behalf caused the addressing error.
12. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
The customer is responsible for taking reasonable steps to receive their order.
Depending on the carrier, delivery may involve:
- delivery to the address;
- delivery to a designated pickup point;
- redelivery;
- collection from a carrier facility;
- or another reasonable delivery arrangement.
The carrier may attempt delivery more than once or leave instructions for collection.
Customers should follow the carrier's instructions where reasonably necessary.
13. UNCOLLECTED OR REFUSED PACKAGES
If a parcel is returned because the customer:
- failed to collect it;
- repeatedly failed to accept delivery;
- refused delivery without a legally valid reason;
- failed to comply with reasonable carrier instructions;
- or failed to provide information necessary for delivery or lawful customs clearance,
BLACKWARD may, where permitted by applicable law:
- charge reasonable additional costs for reshipping;
- deduct actual return transportation costs from a refund;
- or refund only those amounts that must legally be returned.
Any deduction will be limited to amounts that can lawfully be charged to the customer.
This provision does not restrict statutory withdrawal, cancellation, defective-product or other mandatory consumer rights.
14. REFUSAL TO PAY CUSTOMS CHARGES
Where a customer has been clearly informed before purchase that lawful import duties or charges will be their responsibility and the customer subsequently refuses to pay those charges, the parcel may be returned, abandoned or otherwise handled according to the carrier's and customs authority's procedures.
Where the parcel is returned to BLACKWARD, any refund will be processed in accordance with applicable law and our Refund & Returns Policy.
Where legally permitted, BLACKWARD may deduct actual non-refundable shipping, customs or return costs resulting directly from the customer's refusal.
BLACKWARD will not impose deductions that are prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
15. LOST PACKAGES
If tracking indicates that a shipment has not been delivered and it appears to have been lost in transit, customers should contact:
blackwardsupport@gmail.com
BLACKWARD may investigate the shipment with the carrier before issuing the legally appropriate remedy.
Customers may be asked to provide reasonable information needed to assist with the carrier investigation.
Where the risk of loss legally remains with BLACKWARD until delivery, BLACKWARD will comply with that obligation.
In particular, nothing in this Shipping Policy transfers the risk of loss to EU or other protected consumers merely because a parcel has been handed to a carrier selected by BLACKWARD.
16. PACKAGES MARKED AS DELIVERED
If carrier tracking indicates that an order was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should:
1. verify the delivery address;
2. check the immediate delivery location;
3. ask household members or other authorized recipients;
4. check with neighbours where appropriate;
5. check any designated safe place or reception area;
6. contact the carrier where appropriate; and
7. contact BLACKWARD at blackwardsupport@gmail.com.
BLACKWARD may open an investigation with the relevant carrier.
A carrier's "delivered" status may be considered evidence of delivery but will not automatically override mandatory consumer rights where credible evidence indicates that delivery did not actually occur.
17. STOLEN PACKAGES AFTER DELIVERY
Where a parcel has been validly delivered to the customer or to an authorized recipient or location in accordance with applicable law, BLACKWARD is generally not responsible for theft or loss occurring after legal delivery has been completed, to the extent permitted by law.
Customers should arrange delivery to a secure location whenever possible.
Nothing in this clause transfers risk before the point at which applicable law permits risk to pass to the consumer.
18. DAMAGED PACKAGES
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it.
If the package or product arrives visibly damaged, please contact:
blackwardsupport@gmail.com
Customers are encouraged to provide:
- their order number;
- photographs of the external package;
- photographs of the shipping label;
- photographs of the damaged product;
- and any other reasonably relevant information.
Reporting damage promptly helps BLACKWARD investigate the matter with the carrier.
However, failure to report damage immediately does not eliminate any statutory consumer right where the law provides a longer claim period.
Defective or damaged products are handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable consumer law.
19. SHIPPING DELAYS
BLACKWARD works to fulfil orders within applicable delivery estimates, but delays may occasionally occur.
Possible causes include:
- carrier disruption;
- customs procedures;
- severe weather;
- natural disasters;
- strikes;
- transportation problems;
- public holidays;
- high-demand periods;
- product launches;
- security incidents;
- governmental actions;
- border closures;
- war or civil disturbance;
- or other circumstances outside BLACKWARD's reasonable control.
Estimated delivery times are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
However, BLACKWARD will comply with any mandatory legal rights customers have when an order is not delivered within the legally required or specifically agreed period.
20. EU / EEA DELIVERY RIGHTS
For eligible consumers in the European Union and European Economic Area, mandatory consumer law applies.
Unless a different delivery period has been specifically agreed, goods must generally be delivered without undue delay and within the maximum period established by applicable law.
Where goods are not delivered within the agreed or legally applicable period, the customer may have the right to require delivery within an additional reasonable period.
If BLACKWARD still fails to deliver within that additional period, the customer may be entitled to terminate the contract and receive the amounts legally due.
An additional period may not be required in certain circumstances, including where BLACKWARD refuses to deliver or where delivery by a specific date was essential to the contract.
Mandatory EU and national consumer rights remain fully unaffected.
21. UNITED KINGDOM DELIVERY RIGHTS
UK consumers retain all mandatory rights applicable to distance sales.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed, BLACKWARD will deliver orders within the period required by applicable UK law.
Where BLACKWARD fails to comply with mandatory delivery obligations, customers retain the remedies provided by applicable UK consumer legislation.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits those rights.
22. UNITED STATES AND OTHER COUNTRIES
For customers located outside the European Union, EEA and United Kingdom, shipping and delivery rights may vary by jurisdiction.
BLACKWARD will comply with consumer protection laws that mandatorily apply to a particular transaction.
Any provision of this Shipping Policy that conflicts with a mandatory local consumer protection rule will apply only to the extent legally permitted.
23. PRE-ORDERS AND SPECIAL RELEASES
Certain BLACKWARD products may occasionally be sold as:
- pre-orders;
- made-to-order releases;
- limited releases;
- or products with delayed fulfilment.
Where this applies, the estimated shipping or fulfilment period will be disclosed on the relevant product page, during checkout or through another clear notice before purchase.
By ordering such a product, the customer acknowledges the disclosed fulfilment schedule.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
If an order contains both immediately available and pre-order items, the products may be shipped separately or together depending on the fulfilment method used.
24. HIGH-DEMAND RELEASES
During limited drops, collection launches, major sales or unusually high-demand periods, order processing and shipping may take longer than under normal conditions.
BLACKWARD may process orders in batches.
Customers will retain all statutory rights regarding delivery deadlines.
25. DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS
BLACKWARD reserves the right not to ship to locations where delivery would:
- violate applicable law;
- violate sanctions;
- be prohibited by a carrier;
- create unreasonable safety concerns;
- or be operationally impossible.
Where an order cannot lawfully or reasonably be fulfilled after payment, BLACKWARD will provide the refund or other remedy required by applicable law.
26. CARRIER SELECTION
BLACKWARD may select the carrier or logistics provider used to fulfil an order unless the customer is expressly offered a choice during checkout.
We may use different carriers depending on:
- destination;
- price;
- package characteristics;
- service availability;
- delivery speed;
- or operational requirements.
BLACKWARD may change carriers before dispatch if reasonably necessary, provided this does not materially reduce a delivery service already purchased by the customer or violate applicable law.
27. DELIVERY TO A THIRD PARTY
Where the customer instructs BLACKWARD to deliver an order to another individual or authorized recipient, delivery to that person may constitute delivery to the customer where permitted by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to provide another recipient's necessary delivery information.
28. RISK OF LOSS
Risk of loss or damage transfers in accordance with applicable law.
For consumers in the European Union and other jurisdictions with equivalent protections, risk generally remains with BLACKWARD until the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.
Where the customer independently commissions a carrier that was not offered by BLACKWARD, different rules may apply as permitted by law.
Nothing in this policy attempts to transfer shipping risk earlier than mandatory consumer law allows.
29. CHANGES TO AN ORDER
Once an order has been placed, changes cannot be guaranteed.
Customers wishing to modify:
- an address;
- size;
- color;
- product;
- or other order information
should contact:
blackwardsupport@gmail.com
as soon as possible.
If fulfilment has already begun, BLACKWARD may be unable to make the requested modification.
Mandatory cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
30. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE SHIPPING
Customers may request cancellation before shipment by contacting:
blackwardsupport@gmail.com
We will attempt to accommodate the request where reasonably possible.
However, once an order has entered fulfilment or has been dispatched, it may no longer be operationally possible to stop shipment.
This does not affect any statutory right to cancel or withdraw from a distance contract.
31. RETURNS
Returns are governed separately by BLACKWARD's Refund & Returns Policy.
The existence of a shipping issue does not automatically mean a customer must pay return shipping where applicable law requires BLACKWARD to bear those costs.
Please review our Refund & Returns Policy before returning any product.
32. FORCE MAJEURE AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
BLACKWARD will not be responsible for delays caused solely by events beyond our reasonable control, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Such events may include:
- natural disasters;
- extreme weather;
- war;
- civil unrest;
- governmental restrictions;
- epidemics;
- pandemics;
- strikes;
- major carrier disruptions;
- airport or port closures;
- customs disruptions;
- cyber incidents affecting logistics providers;
- or major transportation infrastructure failures.
This provision does not remove any right to cancel, terminate or obtain a refund that mandatory law grants because of an excessive delivery delay.
33. NO COMPENSATION FOR REASONABLE DELAYS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BLACKWARD will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused solely by a reasonable shipping delay outside our control where:
- no guaranteed delivery date was agreed;
- BLACKWARD complied with applicable legal obligations;
- and the loss was not reasonably foreseeable.
This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
34. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing contained in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Where any provision conflicts with mandatory consumer law applicable to an order, the mandatory legal rule will prevail only to the extent necessary to resolve that conflict.
35. CHANGES TO THIS SHIPPING POLICY
BLACKWARD may update this Shipping Policy from time to time.
Changes may reflect:
- carrier changes;
- new shipping destinations;
- new fulfilment methods;
- changes in customs procedures;
- changes in applicable law;
- or changes to BLACKWARD's business operations.
The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in force when the order was placed, subject to mandatory law.
The latest version will always display the applicable "Last updated" date.
